The Executive Officers of the Lewis and Clark County Democratic Central Committee fully support the Democratic nominee for US Senate, Alani Bankhead. She has proven through hard work, authenticity, and genuine connections with her voters that she is the right person to carry the Democrat’s banner in Montana’s Senate race. We believe she has the intelligence, knowledge of the issues, and tenacity to become our next Senator! She secured the nomination by the Democratic voters of Montana and should be supported by Montana democrats.
As the elected officers of the Lewis and Clark County Democratic Central Committee, it is our duty to elect Democrats to office at every level of government. All of our time, effort, money, and work will go towards accomplishing that goal. We strongly urge every Democrat in Lewis and Clark County and beyond to do the same. A unified focus and team effort will not only help Alani win the US Senate race, but will help our congressional candidates, PSC candidates, state legislative candidates, and county candidates.

The Lewis & Clark County Democratic Central Committee supports the statement made by Montana Democratic Party Chair Shannon O’Brien.
We believe, trust, and stand with the victims that have come forward. We strongly recommend Senator Windy Boy to fully withdraw from the MT-02 race. Due to the late suspension of his campaign, Senator Windy Boy will still be on the primary ballot. We urge every Democratic Primary voter to vote for either Sam Lux or Brian Miller.
The credible allegations brought forward, and Senator Windy Boy’s actions, are something we take very seriously. For those reasons, Senator Windy Boy will not be invited nor will he be welcome at any Lewis & Clark County Democrats events. We urge other central committees and organizations to take similar action.
